Anders contacted me as he needed assistance with getting the right piano sound for a project he was working on. The Piano needed to blend in with the Nyckelharpa, a traditional Swedish string instrument. The Piano track was “recorded” in MIDI and I assisted with the adjustment of the performance (velocity, sustain, compression, etc) and provided 7 different audio files for final selection.

Jani from Finland reached out via Facebook as his 9 year old son had written an orchestral piece, but the midi orchestration sounded very synthetic. Jani asked whether I could bring this to life. Needless to say I was very impressed that a 9 year old is so talented so I was happy to assist.

Chris contacted me as he wanted to have his annual fireworks display set to music. I worked with Chris on the set list and recorded the two 8 minute sets with various queues and utilising various plug ins (mainly VSL) for that bold orchestral and magical sound.

Alex contacted me via a virtual orchestration group on Facebook as he needed a great sounding concert style Piano for a track he had composed. It was a beautiful classical composition that needed a bright concert feel with the right microphone settings and ambience. The hard work was done by Alex (writing the piece) which made it easier for me to bring out the rich colours and sounds intended.

Jayne contacted me after she had come across my Lockdown Album as she was after a piece of classical influenced music for a special occasion. Jayne and I had our initial meeting over a coffee as she lives in Milton Keynes. I drafted a couple of ideas and we decided on a lead felt piano with subtle violin and cello sections.
